there is no comparison to the stock springs. The handling is greatly inproved. I only wish I put them on 50,000 miles ago.

Night and day difference over stock - the front doesn't dive anymore under heavy breaking, improves cornering and is much more stable and smooth on irregular pavement. Highly recommended. I had the dealer install becuase the left fork requires a special tool and I was having the bike in for it's 12K check-up anyway.

Beatiful ride. I ride my streak like my friend rides his Gixer. I trust my front end completely with these. It's better than stock for sure, if you like to ride and be safe- get 'em

Definitely damps the front suspension - cutting brake dive from thoes powerful Mean Streak brakes. Much tougher install than rear shocks, though. Left hand fork takes a special tool to diassemble and reassemble. Also requires cutting off about 1" from both spring spacers. Messy too, if changing oil, etc. .

So far so good.......I installed these springs in my 2003 Mean Streak and felt the differance right a way. It doesn't dip as much anymore and I had to stiffen up the rear dampening to #3 to get it to balance with the front again. I also changed the fork oil to Amsoil Light Synthic Fork Oil when I did the springs. Oh yea......you need the wright tools to take the forks apart. So if you don't have them to a good bike mechanic you must go........Read the Service Manual

These are a very nice upgrade from the stock springs. The right one is a piece of cake to put in, but the left requires a special tool and a bit more work. The effort is worth the work, they are great, especially when used with the 440 shocks!

A little tricky to install on the Streaks... You need a special tool to do the left side. Worth the effort... the bike floats but is firm!! Worth the package deal (front and rear)!!
