What a rip. Like how the bike rides. Handles ALL bumps better. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Closer to being the same size as the stock fork springs. Had dealer install them. Made a world of difference in the ride. Highly recommend them. Had them installed by Hare Racing in Sunnyvale California. Can't believe the difference in how the bike responds to the road in turns. Great front end feel and no bottoming out like with the stock springs. Highly recommend these for anyone over 165 pounds. Review Details 3 out of 4 members found this review helpful. (5 stars) reviewed on 01/26/03 byScooter Nerd1 (davidpclemens) from Norman , OK, United States, for a 2002 1800 VTX1800R (Retro) wrote: Wow. Really tighens up the ride. An extra set of hands would be helpful for the install. The special tool would have helped, but the local dealers don't stock it. I ended up using a piece of deer antler to drive the lock nut loose on the left fork (the hardest thing i could find in the garage that was not likely to goober the metal on the nut.) Actually fairly easy otherwise. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(5 stars) reviewed on 01/25/03 byJohn (jgangemi) from Lakeland, FL, United States, for a 1800 VTX1800R (Retro) wrote: Excellent purchase, the front no longer bottoms out. Much improved ride. Wish I had done it earlier. Because of this I switched out the rear shocks as well. I had the dealer install because it requires a special tool. Review Details Was this review helpful to you?
