(5 stars) reviewed on 09/18/08 byRCCola (RCCola45) from Colfax, WI, United States, for a 2005 1100 V-Star Silverado wrote: Very easy install, day and night on corning and no more nose diving at stop signs. I would get again in heart beat. Instructions said to cut spacers at 2 inches but I did 3 inches to stiffen them up a tad more. Changed fork oil at same time and used 10 weight. Be aareful when puting the fork caps back on ... fine thread and easy to cross thred. Review Details 3 out of 3 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(5 stars) reviewed on 04/04/06 bySeaking (Seaking) from , , for a 0 1100 V-Star Silverado wrote: After installing a Baron's rear spring, the front end needed to be done also. The ride is more balanced, no more dipping or plowing, bumps are hardly noticeable. The ride is more stiffer but smooth, not harsh. Your first heavy braking is when you really notice these things, the bike stays on an even keel, without the nose trying to bury itself into the ashphalt. Turns are more confident feeling. I thought my V-Star handled nicely before, now it handles superbly! Well worth the time and money to have installed. Not an expensive mod for great improvement to the performance of the bike.
