Was pleased with the ease of then install but was disapointed that the material supplied for the spacers was not long enough so I had to cut the stock spacers. On the plus side is it made one heck of a difference in the ride quality. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 04/20/04 byRetro (1996ACe) from Kansas City, MO, United States, for a 1996 1100 Shadow ACE wrote: If you have used the front brake on your ACE, you have probably noticed that the front end dives quite a bit. The stock springs just aren't good enough for the weight of our bikes. The Progressives, however, stiffen up the front end quite a bit, making for a much more stable ride. In addition, the fact that the springs are "progressive", the compression of the front end is much smoother and less bouncy that the OEMs. If you want to enhance the way your ACE rides, go with 412 rear shocks AND the progressive front springs. BTW...change your fork oil when you change the springs out as well ;) Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Okay, I can't blast around corners like my hyperbike friends but there is a definate improvement. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
