It makes a very noticible difference in the ride and feel of the bike. If you are making this change, do yourself a favor and change the steer bearings at the same time. Very worth while mod. The difference is like night and day. The bike felt unstable going through curves before - now it is smooth and solid. Highly recommend these and the shocks. Installed myself, added a little fork oil on each side, mine was low. Replaced 4" stock spacers with 3 1/4" pvc pipe, so now both back and front have been lower the same amount. No more nose dive. The 85 Freeway has grooves in it, moderate side winds and lots of bumps. Switched to these and 90% is gone. I could not believe it! The feel around turns improved, u-turns slightly better but by far the biggest difference (for me) was on the highway. A lot more comfortable. Also, I noticed that I take curves faster now. This tightens things up alot and is a must for this bike. Be prepared for modest popping up of the cap when removing.
