Put them in over the weekend. Had more trouble with the corresponding fork oil change than I did with the spring install. One tip for you Sabre owners: LOOSEN THE FORK TENSION BOLTS ON THE TRIPLE TREE!! I stripped one of my aluminum fork caps trying to get it off, then loosened the bolt and it came right off. Live and learn!

Totally worth the money. Completely changed the ride. Much firmer and much better handling. No more diving while braking.

Easy to install if you have a hacksaw to cut the spacers. Made my ride MUCH more comfortable.

Put these on, combined with shocks. Was looking for a less aggressive ride, which they did provide to some extent, but realistically, what I got was a much better handling bike. No complaints.

I waited 5 months before installing, stupid. They make a big difference. I purchased my bike used and it never felt right making turns, always seemed a bit unstable like I had to fight it some, and did not have much travel in my forks before bottoming out. I added enough tubing above the springs to set the bike at least an inch higher in the front, also added 10 oz. of new 15 wt. fork oil in each side. Now the turning is more stablized and the bike feels better on bumps also.

Totaly changes the ride. I went with the 15w oil and it rides awsome. Best part you can't see that I have ever bought. Install was easy with a bike jack and an oil siphion. I put 10 oz of oil in and the level seems perfect.

Improved the ride (less harsh). Easy to install. Took about an hour. I had these sitting in the box for a few months because I was dreading the install. The hardest part was cutting down the old spring spacers so that they were clean and even. Since I didn't remove the forks, I measured the fork oil level in the middle.

Stock was way too spongy....the ride is alot better now without the front end dive. Replaced the fork oil also with 15 weight.

I know everybody raves about Progressive springs and shocks. I don't know, the jury is still out on this one. I bought my bike second hand and it came with the Progressive lowering kit and the shorter 412 shocks. The bike bobbled in the curves and my dealer said it was because the lowering kit didn't allow enough travel for our funky roads. So, I got the original length Progressive fork springs installed with 10w fork oil. Maybe I should have gone with 15 or 20w. Anyway, the new Metzeler ME880s improved the ride more than the spring job. The bike still bobbles but not as badly as before.

Excellent product. These springs should have come stock with the bike. Install as per directions and use 15 or 20 wt oil and it feels like a different bike.
