I added one of these, but with the clear tube, to the back of my driver's backrest. Gives me a super-bright brake light that sits up higher than my taillight. Really gets followers' attention. I used a pigtail-style wire to allow me to raise and lower the backrest, and threaded it down through the foam of the seat to the wires underneath.
