Would not recommend hooking up to your one and only brake light. Blinks too slow. Check out the one on ebay from a seller named onlinefreetrader. It has 37 different modes and it's tiny. Uses a microprocessor. I've switched to it and sold off the one from Radiantz. Review Details 3 out of 3 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Gives the appearance of a strobe light that you can set, or you can turn it off to allow the brake light to act normally. I use it to strobe 3 times then turn solid and I think it gives me more visibility than the stock light. Works as advertised, but you may need a wire diagram to make sure you install correctly since the included instructions aren't obvious. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

When brakes are applied the brake light functions normally but the L.E.D. strips flash. It's a attention getter. Would highly recommend. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful. You can not run your stock lights through this; they will burn it out! A small adjuster can vary the flash rate to your liking, so that you can eliminate the 'fast flash' of the stocker. I did lose the self-canceling feature, so I always have to remember to turn the signal off. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 10/19/05 byRob Capozzi (capozzir) from Leesburg, VA, United States, for a 2005 Blue/Black 1100 V-Star Classic wrote: This little gizmo is really neat. It is about the size of a match book and easily fits under the seat of the '05 V-Star 1100. Installation was very easy. The wire harnes coming from the rear is easy to access. I cut back the wire bundle casing a few inches. I used a series of splices and bullet plugs so that the device could be easily removed and stock brake functions returned if necessary. I also got some heat shrink tubing to cover the splices for added weather protection. I prefer the 3 strobe-solid-repeat pattern. Others claim possible issues with law enforcement but here in VA that's not at all the case. Perfectly legal and since it is the most noticable setting, that's what I went with. (3 stars) reviewed on 03/01/05 byMichael (brock29609) from Greenville, SC, United States, for a 750 Shadow ACE wrote: Not crazy about how it strobes. Why does it go dark in-between strobes while the brake is on? It should stay bright with a pulsing strobe! This would be more of a concern if it was on a lone taillight, but I have it hooked to a second taillight on the back of my sissy bar pad. I do not think this is safe to use if you have one brake light. It stays dark too long between flashes. Keep in mind the flash speed adjustment screw only works for the continuous flashing mode (to be used if it's hooked up to your turn signals). It blinks very slooooowly in the brake light modes, and you cannot speed it up with the adjustment screw. I wish I bought the Signal Dynamics' Back Off XP flasher instead.
