(5 stars) reviewed on 10/19/05 byRob Capozzi (capozzir) from Leesburg, VA, United States, for a 2005 Blue/Black 1100 V-Star Classic wrote: This little gizmo is really neat. It is about the size of a match book and easily fits under the seat of the '05 V-Star 1100. Installation was very easy. The wire harnes coming from the rear is easy to access. I cut back the wire bundle casing a few inches. I used a series of splices and bullet plugs so that the device could be easily removed and stock brake functions returned if necessary. I also got some heat shrink tubing to cover the splices for added weather protection. I prefer the 3 strobe-solid-repeat pattern. Others claim possible issues with law enforcement but here in VA that's not at all the case. Perfectly legal and since it is the most noticable setting, that's what I went with. (5 stars) reviewed on 07/10/03 byBrian (Badnooze) from Lake George, NY, United States, for a 2001 1100 V-Star Classic wrote: Just installed this and it works Great. There are four settings, two for flash which will work with regular bulbs, and two with strobe for LED lighting. The Strobe setting really gets your attention !!!!!!!! The directions were not very clear about the wiring , had to call Radiantz to clear it up. They should just draw a diagram, it would be alot easier to figure out. To make things easy, take off the seat, slice tube of wires open that runs into your back fender. On Yamaha, cut the yellow wire. Using male/female connectors, connect the white wire from the strobe to the yellow heading through rear fender, connect the red wire from the strobe to the yellow wire heading to the front of the bike, connect the black wire from the strobe to the black wire in the same tube of wires. I soldered all connections, taped them up good, and just tucked the strobe under the seat, found a nice slot that it fit in. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful.
