I bought one of these things early in the season and it works great on fresh pavement but not so hot on dirt. Went to a long weekend bike rally and after parking the bike in a feild, an hour later I noticed from a distance that the bike was leaning over too far over for comfort. When I went to the bike I found that the stock kickstand had basicaly punched through the disk, cracking it in 3 perpendical cracks from centre to edge of inside the disk.. I figure it wasn't much longer away from going all the way through. Note to self, get a 2X4 block for fields as this disk simply wasn't up to the task for soft fields. Works great on pavement, nuh uh for soft fields. I haven't yet contacted the seller (CC) or manufacturer to see if they will replace it.. Installation is easy, just drop it on the ground and shuffle into position when using it. As a joke, drop your disk on the pavement at a bike rally and ask if any of the Harley riders dropped a part (due to the noise it makes). Around here, riders a very humourful and appreciate a fine joke. I did manage to find my bike a few hours later after pulling this joke.. =)
