+gives a nice look to the bike +can protect your bike from minor sratches in case it fall over -it is not rigid and will became unusable if your bike fall over -due size of it not easy to drive between cars in rush hours -very very soft and thin central bolt =remember, this is only for decoration, not for protection!!!
