Review Summary:
I bought this unit about two weeks ago as a decent compromise between my Cobra FI2000 and a PCIII USB. It was gonna be used for anticipated future engine upgrades. I installed it no problem although time consuming considering fuel tank/lines and electrics removal. When I started it up my FI light remained lit. I disassembled and re-connected with same results. Connecting my stock injectors resulted in normal operation. I put a call in to Dynatek when I tried again a 3rd time to get this unit working. Larry(from Dynatek) called me and informed me I did everything correctly. The problem was that my unit was "incorrectly Flashed" and needed to be returned. I asked for an even exchange of a new, working one but none were available. And to top it off, some defective units are still unsold as they can't positively state which batch is bad. I didn't want to mail it back to California and wait for it to come back. They even didn't offer me a free return label for a brand new, known defective part return !! This made it easy to return to my dealer and go with a PCIII. In theory this unit should work well but quality control appears to be an issue with Dynatek. I'd give it a higher star value if it worked as it should in theory...
