Review Summary:
I decided to improve my transmit and receive capabilities, and installed a 4' Firestik FireFly 'FL' series NGP antenna mast (model LG3), Firestik antenna professional stud mount (model K-4), Firestik 'Push-N-Twist' external locking antenna mast quick disconnect (model R-1A), Firestik medium duty stainless steel spring (model SS-3M) to my existing Firestik NGP coax cable (model K-8NGP). Please note NGP (no ground plane) set-up requires Firestik coax and NGP antenna mast in order to work properly. Otherwise, SWR is critically high. Or, Firestik sells a couple different complete NGP antenna kits that include everything you need. I ordered most of the items from Walcott CB.(www.walcottcb.com)
