I learned a lot more from this book regarding cornering than I ever did in the MSF safety course, and it covers several other dozen topics the class doesn't have time to cover. Humor and real life examples throughout make it enjoyable and not your typical “this is how you do it” book. The second book, “More Proficient Motorcycling” is just as good. It adds practice examples that you can do in an empty parking lot, if you so choose. Interesting to note is that these books are at most libraries, so you can read it, learn some good info, and then return it.
