Review Summary:
I put these on shortly after my 500 mile checkup on the bike when it was new, along with a Cobra jet kit and K&N filter. They've been on for over 22K as of 10 of 07. It is a great addition. I've riden several stock 1100 V-Stars & with the pipes & jet kit, the difference in performance is obvious. The tone is perfect, a bit of a roar & bark coming up to speed, depending on the trottle twist, & a quiet throatyness while cruising. Not so loud as to require ear plugs on long cruises but enough to be noticed. There's no bluing or discoloration on them at all.
