Review Summary:
Sweet sound!!! I have only put on about 300 miles so far on these pipes, so far no blueing on the heat shields. I have noticed that underneath they have started to blue which is normal. However, the blueing underneath does reflect off the chromed drive cover so it makes the the cover seem like it is discoloring, although it is just when the sun reflects off of it. The tone is perfect- not screaming loud but a nice, rich, and deep sound that is music to the ears. The lines of the pipes accentuate the natural lines of the bike and make them look as if they were designed by Yamaha. They are lighter and much more attractive than the stock pipes. I also love how they shape to the big V-Twin motor as well! I had them put on and Dyno Jetted by a motorcycle mechanic.
