Ease of install: 3 Value: 3 Would buy again: yes Improving the ride: 5 Review Summary: I actually bought mine off Ebay new for about $50, couldn't pass it up. I have hesitated because, I feel they are a little too expensive. My Vstar 11custom is lowered 1 1/4" and the swing arm was always tapping the frame. I'm 6'1" 250lbs. and riding 2up with my wife was almost impossible and she's not a real big lady. Seems to be worth the $100 if you can't find a good deal. I haven't put it to the full test of a bumpy road, but I will update. Removing the assembly and removing your old spring is possible yourself. Getting this heavier one on, is almost impossible, without the correct tool . If anyone lives around Ft.Worth, Texas, the only place I found that would do it was Piper Performance in NRH. The dealer couldn't even do it. I found it a little difficult getting evrything removed from the bike put back the way it should be.
