Mine came with three different zip-on pads for adjustable backrest thickness, a rain cover, shoulder strap, and two very sturdy attachable side pouches. There are tons of places to use bungee cords. Although the velcro to attach to the sissybar is somewhat short, and there is no additional front-mounted attaching method built in, this piece really is universal while balancing looks and functionality. If you feel yours needs additional security to the front, using bungee or adding a velcro strap is a very easy process. I have used it to go grocery shopping - I fit in a 12 case of pop (soda for those who don't like 'pop), my extra gloves, and a few cans of soup and stuff. This bag is *best* for soft items that are malleable, since the bag has a rigid frame. This rigid frame is necessary so you can use the backrest without it collapsing. Hard objects (like cans) sometimes don't fit in quite right when the bag's nearly full, but the bag is definitely large enough for a half-helmet and some stuff on top of that. There is no locking mechanism to attach it to the bike. However, this makes attaching and removal of the bag very, very easy. Undo two velcro straps, pick it up by the handle, and you're done. Re-attaching only takes *slightly* longer, since you just want to attach the velcro firmly enough that you're positive it won't go anywhere. Easy.
