Review Summary:
The Metz 880 is an excellent tire, but so is the Avon Venom X, which I first owned. However, being a rather aggressive rider, I wore out three avon rear tires each in less than 7K miles. Now i have a Metz 880 on the rear with over 12K miles and they still look new. They are wearing at less than half the rate of the Avon, due to being not quite as "sticky". I've heard complaints about the Metz rubber being too hard and losing traction, but that has never happened to me. Biggest increase in handling or performance than any other mod--bar none. A must have!
