Pirelli MT66 Route - Cruiser/Touring Tire 140/90H-16 BLK Rear

Tire lasted: don't know yet Value: 5 Would buy again: yes Review Summary: I used this on a Kawasaki VN800A Vulcan together with an MT75 90/90-21 front. It was excellent! Although I didn't keep the bike long enough to wear them out, they would probably have lasted me 10,000 miles. That's twice as far as the stock Bridgestones! And that's not even the important part. Compared to the Bridgerocks, the Pirellis ran far smoother, offered better stability, nimbler handling and tons more grip. From 60 mph, I reduced my stopping distance by a massive 27 ft!!! The grip came from the compund and the tyres' better ability to conform to the road, whereas the handling improvements came because the two tyres had the same profil and came equally close to the edges (about 1/4in) before things scraped. On the Bridgerocks Kawasaki decided to fit, the front was worn to the very edges, whereas the rear had half an inch of virgin rubber on each side.
