Install was realtively easy. I made it a bit harder by doing the flasher relocation at the same time using a MC relocation bracket kit. I really am just lazy and wanted to do both to avoid more work !!:) I HIGHLY recommend removing the fender for either the relocation or the conversion kit. On my bike there are 3 quick connects that allow you to completely remove the fender along with all electrical wiring, you can then do all the work on a kitchen table, though this may prompt some "pleasantries" with your significant other...:) Since this is a review for the conversion, the hight light of the reloaction kit is to make sure you add the "extra wire length" to fit under the fender and make sure you have enough length to reach the quick connect on your bike. About 6" on the right side and 9" on the left side should do you. Make sure to run your paired wiring for the LEDs' at this point. Once you have the lens off , remove the bulb. See those 2 screws at the base, remove them. The base assembly can now be moved towards you.The 2 turn signal wires are run thru a rubber grommet which can be pulled forward, making it much easier to run the paired wiring for the LEDs thru the larger opening. Make sure to reattach those 2 screws in each base. I chose to replace the lens with clear ones and to install amber bulbs. This allowed me to silicone seal the led ring ahead of time. Run all your wiring, reattach the fender to fender frame. You can now make all your electrical connections to the Conversion unit. Make sure you make the connections on the FENDER side of the bikes factory quick connects. That way you can easily remove the fender in the future. For those with my type of bike and the lack of multi-meter, the following is how MY bike was wired. Rt signal-Green was ground, orange was signal. Lft signal-Green was ground, orange was signal. Running/Brakes-Brake was Green/Yellow stripe. Running was Brown. For a long afternoon of work, it was well worth the effort !!
