Review Summary:
My 2 cents is to take the fender off. It's much easier to get the wiring done that way. Then, attach the backing plate to the fender mount before you put the fender mount on the fender. Then, poke the wires down through the assembled bracket, through the fender and do your wiring before putting the fender back on. I had to trim the rubber cushion that was under the stock bracket because the rubber was squishing out the sides of the new Ness bracket and it didn't look good. Comes with 3 wires. Green is neutral, yellow is running lights, blue is for the brighter with the brake light feature, but Victory uses a lower voltage for the brake light so if you want that feature, you have to find the pink/white wire under the seat and run the blue wire to that. I left my stock tail light on, so I just capped off the blue wire and left it. Looks great. Well built.
