Review Summary:
This is a "doable" install even for a novice. First thing I am learning from other riders is to decide if you prefer to wire your bar to the head light lead or use a wiring harness. Everyone recommends making/buying a wiring harness to avoid issues and possible damage to your bike's starter. I got my harness from gonzogarage.com. Easy to install and he's very helpful. Wired mine to operate independent of the headlight. One connection to the positive battery post, one to a ground, splice into the hot wire to the tail light, remove the tank,(easy) and run the lead up to connect to the light bar. Cobra's inst. to "remove the rubber mount" for the turn indicators leaves you in a quandry. I used a hot knife to slice through the rubber and cut away the metal bracket molded inside.
