Review Summary:
Well made. Good product. I've read all the other reviews and installation tips and they were very helpful. The plate is three lights in one, running light, brake light and license plate light (white). The instructions are insufficient. I installed on my 2005 Kingpin in about 4 hours or so. I did connect the brake light (blue) to the white/pink tracer wire in the harness under the seat. Best to use a tap splice to do that. Connect the black to green and the purple to yellow and you're in business. I had to cut a notch out of the Missouri plate to get the wires through to the back and wrapped them good in electrical tape to prevent abrasion. I did take the whole fender off to do this job. That made it immensely easier. Hardest part was getting the wiring harness through the frame to get the fender off. I recommend this laydown plate. Price is right and looks GREAT.
