I installed the Rivco Air Horns because I got tired of "being ignored" on the road. What really did it was the SUV who started to drift left, into my lane: windows closed, stereo undoubtedly blasting and left elbow of driver casually leaning on the left window, lest it would get tired from holding the phone. The horn did absolutely nothing to attract his attention. Luckily, the lane on my right was free. The horns came with the appropriate bracket for the Valk, such that they will mount in the same location as the original (useless) horn. The electrical contacts to the switch mate perfectly to the existing ones and the air hose was pushed under the tank and tied to the frame, under the seat, with plastic tie. The compressor was mounted on the frame, behind the right side cover. The power connections, to the relay and main fuse are per included instructions which are VERY clear. The ground wire was tied to the frame with the existing bolt above the main fuse. Everything fits under the right side cover. The big test came a few days later. A MAC truck started to pull the "I-did-not-see-you-so-I-drifted-into-your-lane" routine. One blast and he froze in his lane. I consider those horns to be life savers. I think they should be standard equipment on EVERY bike. One squirt of WD40 every couple of months and they sound terrific. On a scale of 1 to 5 I give them a 7.
