Review Summary:
Very happy with this purchase. These pipes look like the stock pipes I replaced, not too much of a difference with the exception that they are a bit longer than the stock pipes but hardly noticeable.I was impressed by the low throaty sound these pipes create. In quiet mode they seemed to be just as quiet as the stock pipes maybe even quieter. In loud mode, I was expecting them to be deafining but they are not. On idle, they are quiet but twist the throttle and the engine will talk to you. During acceleration they are loud but after you get to your desired speed the growling goes away and you hear the constant low rumble i spoke of from above. If you are looking for pipes to be extremely loud, these pipes are not for you. There is a significant difference between quiet and loud modes but are not to the extremes. Installation in my opinion needs to be done by a qualified tech. In my case the service tech had a bit of trouble syncing the diverters to work in unison. He did acheive it but it took some doing to get there. The motorized cyclinder mounts perfectly on to the frame and looks good.It does not interfere with custom radiator covers nor in foot pegs. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the look and performance of these pipes.
