Review Summary:
Finally got the riser a couple of weeks ago after having it on order for 4 months and installed it 5/23/2010. Was relatively simple to install, follow the instructions, came with a newer wire attachments compared to other reviews I've read, easy to wire into the right coil on my 2008 V-star 1100 Silverado, as stated in the instructions, the 1/2 inch bolts went right though the tree, no drilling or reaming, was snug though the wire guides, but it held the bolts in place while positioning the risers. I did assemble the riser completely to help align both sides (did have to ran a tap in the 4 top screw, had chroming in them. The finish is fantastic, like looking in a mirror. Did have to re route the clutch and choke to the inside of the tree, throttle cables were just fine and i did have to rotate the front break line and move to the outside of the windshield mount. Looks like I will be doing the braded lines sometime this summer. So far with one day riding to and from work, love the new riding position, just need to do some distance for a real check.
