Ease of install: 3 Value: 4 Would buy again: yes Review Summary: Good looking item, especially if your pipes don't cover it up. The installation was not difficult, however the instructions could have been more descriptive. Also, if you have the stock cover on when you install this than there is a rubber gasket/bushing that fits between the original cover and the mounting location. The instructions for this item made no mention of whether to keep the gasket/bushing in place or mount this cover without it. Also, the gasket/bushing is longer than this covers mounting plate. I took some measurements and decided to replace the bushing because I thought that there might not be enough clearance if I removed it. Also I didn't like the idea of the metal to metal contact if the rubber wasn't in place. Overall I'm happy with the cover I just thought it was a bit pricey. However, if you are going to lower your bike you will need to replace the stock cover as your belt will rub otherwise. I have the 2006 Jackpot (not the 106 Vegas that is only on the roster here) Review Pros: Review Cons: Review Improvements: Review Tools: Was this review helpful to you? |
