I was completely sold when the dealer showed me a model of these speakers, I actually had it installed before the delivery of my V Star. I got the chrome to match my handlebars and it blended so much that I have to point it out to friends at times because they don't notice it as speakers lol, they think it's just some yamaha accessories that came with the bike. Pro's- I really LOVE these speakers! I use it with my iPod Nano and have also tried it with my iPhone 4 and it blows my mind! Con's - The mp3 holder/stand is a perfect fit for small iPods like my nano but too short for my iphone,it sticks out, also you will have to either glue a velcro to the back of your mp3 to attach to the stand or use a strong rubber band or ladies ponytail hair band to secure it (i've tried the bands and they work) Another Pro's- they could get as loud as you want it. I haven't tried it on the interstate or highway yet, so I'm not sure how loud they will get....but so far I will recommend it and give it two thumbs up.... UPDATE: It's not quite loud enough on the interstate but definitely too loud on the street.I also think it depends on the music/sound/recording itself...anyway i still love it!
