I have only ever run the heat setting at 100% and have yet to completely run down the battery. I especially like the fact that the fingers do not have any stitched seams that run across the finger tips. Most gloves have a seam across the fingertips and this is a point of entry for wind. The Technische gloves not only have no seam at this point but the finger tips are covered in a material that is extra-windproof. The fleecy inner lining also helps with hand warmth. Four negatives, however. FIRST -the gloves are expensive; SECOND - they are not dedicated motorcycle gloves - they are gloves designed for a various outdoor activities - hence, they do not have any hardened knuckles or other form of hand protection; THIRD - the palms and inside of the fingers are not covered in any friction material so the gloves tend to slip a bit on some motorcycle grips; FOURTH - the sizing chart is inadequate; I ended up with a size that is just a bit too big for me. Overall, though these gloves serve their intended purpose. They are not excessively bulky and the battery power source makes them very convenient - no "wiring up" of various bits of apparel to the bike's battery. Sadly, though, I have to mark them down in the value for money category because of their very high price. Review Pros: Review Cons: Review Improvements: Review Tools: Was this review helpful to you? |
