Looks good enough, and is comfortable enough to walk around town in during stops, but the shoulder armor makes it clear to anyone looking at you that this is a motorcycle jacket. Nice, quilted zipout liner that reaches down the sleeves will make it warm. With the liner out, it should be good to around 80 degrees, especially with the shoulder and sleeve vents zipped open. Wrecked the bike over the summer and broke collar bone and 4 ribs. Wearing a t-shirt and full face helmet when I wrecked - hit the top, outside of shoulder and side of head first after high side slam into the ground at 35 mph or so. The helmet saved my head and ear. An armored jacket may have spread the impact to the shoulder enough to where I may not have not gotten so cracked up. Vowed to never ride without an armored jacket again. This is the first of three jackets I plan to buy this winter. Will be great for those cooler evening rides here in Colorado. Getting rid of old leathers without the armor. Going to buy a new leather for the cold weather and a mesh with armor for the hot. Review Pros: Review Cons: Review Improvements: Review Tools: Was this review helpful to you? |
