Review Summary:
Well pleased with the tach. O4 Honda Shadow Aero has 2 coils; 1 up front left side underneath tank, 1 under the right sidecover. Remove the seat and loosen the tank to access the coil. Outside wire on coil(blue with yellow stripe) was the negative on my bike. Finding a hot wire was the most fun. Remember to buy a mounting bracket. I used the Kuryakyn P Clamp KY-4018. Good heavy chrome bracket. Strip of innertube used under bracket as a scrach preventer.
