Fits perfectly and looks great on my 2007 Kingpin. Only problem was instructions for wiring were vague. I received 2 sets of instructions with slightly different parts list and different wiring instructions. A call to Arlen Ness technical helpline confirmed that both yellow and blue wires should be connected to a maximum of 12V. The green wire is ground. The yellow wire goes to the 12V always-on purple wire from the stock license plate wiring harness. The blue wire should be connected to some place that is 0V when brakes are OFF, and 12V when brakes are ON. Since I upgraded my stock taillight to the new Victory 3-wire multi-LED taillight along with the 12V adaptor kit from NOEMTZ, I was able to tap into the12V brake light wire that goes into my new taillight (use a voltmeter to find out which wire that is). Before installation I tested this new lighted license plate frame in the lab. It works as follows: Green is ground. The yellow wire lights up the white and red LED's, it draws 15mA at 12V. Separately, the blue wire lights up the white and red LED's brighter, it draws 75mA at 12V. With 12V applied simultaneously to both yellow and blue wires, the white and red LED's reach maximum brightness and draw a total of 90mA. So you get 3 lights in one: white license plate light, red taillight, and both get brighter when you use either the front or rear brakes. The 2007 stock taillight has only 2 wires and was apparently a 5V system, so for that case you need to connect the blue wire to a pink/white 12V brake wire somewhere under the seat. I was glad I did not need to do that.
