I was very excited to finally get this thermometer. I ride through the California desert alot, road trips to Laughlin, Havasu or Los Vegas, and I was always woundering just how hot (or cold) it was. It was very easy to install. It looks great, and matches the riders passion clock (that I would highly recomend). The problem with the thermometer is that it sits on your handlebar in the direct sunlight and on a hot day, lets say around 100F, it heats up and will read 115 or 120. So you still never know the real temp. Sitting in the direct sun it always reads high, way too high. If you park your bike in the shade you will get a more accurate temperature reading. For that reason I don't think I could recomend this one.
