These Highway mounts are awesome, made from solid billet aluminum with a great chrome finish. I love the design and adjustability. The total length of the HD004 (out from the frame down tube) is 12". I would suggest the additional purchase of RIVCO's PEGSEXT or PEGEXT-3 extensions to keep your legs farther away from the engine on all Harley-Davidson models (or your knee will rest on the air cleaner). The extensions mount between the peg and the highway mount. The PEGSEXT is a 2" extension; this gives you a total of 14" out from the frame down tube. The PEGSEXT-3 is a 3" extension; this gives you 15" out from the frame down tube. I have a 2006 Dyna Street Bob and I use the HD004 (1 1/2" highway mount) with the PEGSEXT-3 extension and I am 5' 7" with a 34" pant leg. I am very, very happy...
