THESE HIGHWAY MOUNTS WILL NOT FIT any 2004 and newer SPORSTER MODELS. 2004 and newer Sportys have 1 3/8" frames and the only mount that RIVCO manufactures for this size frame tube is part nuber VTX13004. These Highway mounts are awesome, made from solid billet aluminum with a great chrome finish. I love the design and adjustability. The total length of the HD004 (out from the frame down tube) is 12". I would suggest the additional purchase of RIVCO's PEGSEXT or PEGEXT-3 extensions to keep your legs farther away from the engine on all Harley-Davidson models (or your knee will rest on the air cleaner). The extensions mount between the peg and the highway mount. The PEGSEXT is a 2" extension; this gives you a total of 14" out from the frame down tube. The PEGSEXT-3 is a 3" extension; this gives you 15" out from the frame down tube. I have a 2006 Dyna Street Bob and I use the HD004 (1 1/2" highway mount) with the PEGSEXT-3 extension and I am 5' 7" with a 34" pant leg. I am very, very happy...

Can't say enough about these. They are great. They adjust in every way possible. They fit perfect, they are comnfortable and I love using them. The long rides are much easier on my back and legs now. They even come with the tools for the install.

The product quality is excellent and they are very easy to install. Too bad they aren't slightly angled up as they appear in the picture. It would make placement on the right side much easier. The exhaust pipe is in the way and the mount needs to be fairly high in order that your leg doesn't drap over the brake pedal. I need to fine tune the placement but I'm sure glad I have them. I just finished a 250 mile run in the Texas Hill Country and it was nice to straighten out my knees.

Sweet. Didn't want the engine guard look. These attach directly to frame. Very comfortable going down the road. Won't vibrate or slip...Looks good. My only regret is that I waited as long as I did to buy. Worked great for a trip from San Diego Ca to Mesa Az.

For a tall guy, this product made all the difference! In a world of Asian bikes made for someone 5'10", this product opened up a whole new world of options. I think it would be great for someone normal height too. I am now able to stretch out and relax on my Intruder, take the pressure off my lower back, and overall enjoy my ride again. The only problem with this was getting the adjustment right, working around obstacles with the allen wrenches, etc. It took my about 1/2 dozen attempts before I got the right height, distance forward, etc. It was well worth the effort. Looks good too, with plenty of chrome.
