actually picked up the highway bars from MC enterprises, very similar to these. Found them on ebay for $100. What adifference it makes to be able to kick your legs up on the road. Wish I hadn't waited so long to get them, they make riding a whole new world.

Got these at the Hoot...well made and wide range of adjustment. Good detail right down to the dab of anti-seize lube in the tapped holes. Great looking chrome billet albeit a bit pricey.

Like the look of the pegs, but couldn't get enough of the thigh to sit on the seat. Lowered bars to within an inch of the rear brake resevoir, but required the 2" extentions to be comfortable. In this manner also allows you to lay your legs on the original pegs, with ball of foot on the Rizomas. Very comfy. Would reccommend. Takes time to get adjusted right due to infinite positions. Does mar paint on the down tubes.

These higheay mounts and pegs are very stylish and comfortable but had to add the 2" extentions to the pegs.

If you don't want the bulky look of engine guards these are the Highway mounts for you. Easy to install, under 30 minutes, great look, feels nice to prop legs up and the cost is affordable compared to having purchase engine guards to mount other highway bar styles on to.

NIce chrome. Pretty simple installation. I have these mounted to the frame (the 1 1/2" pegs will work for the magna frame). I am 6'2" and ride the stock seat so I used to get a little cramped until these beautiful things came along. Got off work @ 11:30pm and went straight to the garage and put em on so I could ride the next day.

The pegs are ok. The were back ordered and Rivco and they would not say if and when the parts would be done. The quality of the product is good, but the function diminishes for someone who is 6 foot or taller. With the mounts rotated all the way forward I can drape my feet over the pegs with my ankles on the pegs. If I put my feet on the pegs my knees are up above the tank.

I put these on my 750 Shadow Spirit. There is only one place on the down tubes to mount these. The radiator must be removed and I ran into a problem on the right down tube. It has a stamped hole on the rear of the tube which distorts the roundness of the tube. It is the only area of the tube you can mount the bar if you want it to match the left side, which has the horn bracket welded to the down tube. It did scratch up the right tube and was very hard to get all 4 bolts started because of the distorted tube. The left tube was easy and did not scratch the paint At this location my heel hits the brake pedal. I had to lower the height of the brake petal which is pretty easy. I would not recommend these for your Shadow Spirit, unless you are very mechanicly inclined. If you want them higher you have to relocate the horn and grind off the welded bracket and repaint the area.................lol. The bars look great and are high quality, but make sure you have alot of down tube space so yo...

Awsome! Solid as a rock! Stylish! Alittle tricky to install; but well worth it. ( I am 5' 9") Installation tip: Remove the radiator grill (4 screws)Remove top two mounting screws on radiator. Wrap clamp around frame with all four screw heads facing toward front tire. Tighten the two back screws about 1/8" past flush with clamp. (once in place these screws will not be accessable) Carefully slide highway bar up to desired height. Start turning highway peg to your desired position moving the radiator foward as nessesary. Then tighten the other two screws. Same on other side. Replace the two radiator screws, the grill, and WALA. A little bonus - The pegs rotate to desired position.

There isn't a lot to choose from when looking for highway bars to install on a VLX600. After searching I decided on the rivco bars. There no doubt to the quality of these bars and they look great installed on the bike. My only wish would be that they would be just a tad longer. I'm 6'-1" and I have them out as far as I can get them but I would like them another 2" or so out. They will adjust out further but that brings your knees closer to the bike and my right knee is up against the air cleaner as it is. But with that said, I still would buy them again.

Got these for Christmas. Good quality...the draw backs are they will scrach the paint on the frame and it is hard to get good placement if you are short. I have a 29 inch inseam. I have them installed, I did have to lossen the radiator to get the bracket on the frame. I gave them a test run on the highway the other day. The feel was comfortable, I like the way they look and I am pleased with the fit.
