I modified the stock one. I just cut 3/16 off the end. Reinstalled. Then readjusted the brake lite switch. This took more time than the brake rod mod.

Easy but fiddly installation. Needed to pull off floor board to access cotter pin and washer (behind exhaust). Feels a little strange at first but will be easy to get used to and also easy to use. Will give it a week or so and see how it works out.
