(5 stars) reviewed on 02/11/12 by bob (mrbass1947) from Jacksonville, FL, United States, for a 2011,maroon metalic 1300 VTX1300C wrote: installed yesterday and went for a short ride of 100 miles.ill tell you no back pain on shoulder pain. i just cant belive how much more fun to ride. the only thing with the install was it said to install bolts on the triple tree first but when you do that there is not enough room to install the nuts on the bars. i removed the bolts on the triple tree did the nuts first then bolts. took about a half hour and was well worth it.no more leaning over the tank. i'm 5'8"tall. The bolts that came with them where 1" too short, but, $3.46 later I had two longer CRES bolts and it all went together well. Had to re-route my clutch cable....easy. But for some reason they were taking was to long . after two weeks of waiting ..i was looking around on sites.and reveiews ,And i seen a set that i liked .. extended the hight a little over 2" and and being the forks anle back it brought the bar back 1.5/8" and looked great..www.xchoppers.com Shinny crome..ordered them for half of this price.. Easy to install.nothing to change..in about 10 minutes give or take.. Ps,.If ,no one else there to help..place towels on tank to lay the bar on till yu have it ready to reinstall.. saved money and looks great and feels amazingly different .no more stretching..oh yea.
