Positive observations: a) installation wasn't bad. Took me about an hour but shouldn't have. See below. b)looks great on the bike. It looks excellent, in fact!! c) will officially hold twelve pounds of weight. That seems better than most of the other racks I considered. d) It's actually made of metal. It's a nice sturdy piece. Negative observations: a) Two "L" brackets replace the "U" bracket holding the rear seat. That makes sense and enhances the look of the piece significantly. But...no rubber washer/spacer was included to protect the fender from the metal-to-metal contact. I had to buy my own. C'mon guys... b) I kept trying to set the "L" brackets so they would fit my passenger seat (as they're supposed to) but every time I tried to tighten the brackets they'd move. Finally I just gave up on that. Not a big deal for me b/c I won't be switching back and forth anyway. c) It's overpriced. 3 1/2 pounds of chromed metal with no moving part...
