This is great looking rack. It is made out of heavy metal and is very well made. I have a Honda VTX 1300C. I purchased this and made some adjustments so that it will fit on my bike. All I had to do was drill a hole is the back tongue. It took about 10 minutes to install. It is not only easy to install, good looking but it actually is strong and very functional. Works great with tie downs.

Since there were no solo racks available for the Honda Magna 94-03, purchased this unit and after stepping on it to straighen it out to fit the fender, was able to get this to work fine for my bike. had to trim the mounting bracket for under the seat but with a little work from the Dremel, it fit. did have to drill one hole in the center for the mounting bolt but it looks like it was ordered that way. Love the look! The hardest thing for me was to pull the trigger and purchase it then modify it to fit the bike.

This rack is made to be used with the stock seat pan which is why it will work with the Ultimate seat for the 1800C.The picture they show is the rack for the 1800R. A mount bolts up to the stock mount points for the passenger pad on the driver seat. The rack for the C has a tab in front that slides into the mount and a slotted hole for the rear seat bolt in the fender. The only problem I had was even with no spacer the rack was too thick and too great of an angle to allow the acorn nut to start. And it didn't follow the fender or look right. Fortunately the local ACE store has a good selection of metric hardware. They actually had a 6mm coupling and hex screw. With a little grinding on one end to fit the slot it made the perfect spacer. Now the rack follows the line of the fender perfectly, looks great, is quick removeable and is rock solid. Rivco should included something like this with the rack. The "R" model is pictured above, not the C. Very important: The rack is designed for use only with the STOCK SEAT! I purchased this product at Americade and there was no mention of this until you unpackaged the item and read the directions. Since I have a Mustang seat I modified the front of the rack to work with that seat. The modification was not cheap. I also added a spacer to the rear to help the rack contour to the fender better. Simple install with the stock seat. Love the look with my solo Mustang seat and backrest.
