Just recieved these saddle bags today. Exterior looks exactly as described. Just installed saddle bags. These bags are so big that I stored a 24 pack of beer on one side and a half bushel of crabs in the other. Looks very nice on bike. Need to readjust after sun cooks them.

Love 'em. They fit perfectly on my Vstar 1300. I did shorten them up a a little so they were just s a little higher off the exhaust. I think they are sturdy and very roomy. I used the Yamaha saddle bags supports which work good - but needed to figure out how to secure bag to supprt so it doesn't "flap". I used some velcro tape which seems to work OK.
