(5 stars) reviewed on 09/19/07 byjayjen2 Harrison (jayjen2) from Monmouth, OR, United States, for a 2006 Black/ Rootbeer Brown 750 Shadow Aero wrote: I got this seat for my Honda Shadow 750 Aero. Very nice seat, extreamly comfortable. Unfortunately the riding season is coming to an end up here so when I finally get a decent bit of saddle time on it I will update my review. Ok So I went for about 100 miles on the new seat and I love it. Sits you deeper into the seat and gives you more leg room. My wife really loves it. She felt a lot more comfortable and she didn't get any cramps from trying to stay balanced. Review Details 5 out of 5 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

The seat itself allows you to sit a little lower and is very comfortable. My wife won't ride in the winter so I won't be able to rate the passenger seat until later. Seat came with brackets that didn't match my stock seat. The front bracket opening had to be modified from an elongated openning to a circle. I used a Dremel. That sucked. The bracket on my stock seat that is under my tail bone was absent on the new seat. Neither the seller nor Saddleman would provide me the correct brackets/hardware despite offers to purchase them. The rear bracket on the new seat has to be boltet to the rear fender. This means that the seat needs to be unbolted to get at the tools and battery. Can you imagine needing a tool on the side of the highway and it's bolted under the seat! Not very bright! I will edit this review with regards extended riding times and comfort wh... (2 stars) reviewed on 11/17/03 byLarry Combs (LCombs) from Sacramento, CA, United States, for a 1500 Valkyrie Standard wrote: I purchased the Explorer Saddle. Service was great. Seat looked Great. But after installing I noticed the rear seat pan edges were resting on the rear fender. Would rub the paint . The passengers seat was at least 1 inch short around the back. Passenger sat to far forward so when leaning back on backrest it gave the feeling of sliding forward. The drivers seat felt good. I didn't have a chance to ride with the seat on. I decided to send it back. If these 2 things were changed, bigger passenger sitting, and get the rear seat pan edges off the rear fender. This would be a very nice seat for the price.
