Bought this for my 750 Shadow to give the missus greater comfort as a pillion. So much more seat for the pillion gives much greater comfort for longer rides. The rider seat is a little firmer than the original standard seat, but the slightly higher (dip in the seat)back provides more support for the rider. The slightly curved rear of the riders seat also tends to push the riders hips into a better riding position and holds the rider in a more secure position, particularly when cornering. I always have panniers (saddle bags)on my bike and the wider pillion seat does not look out of place, though not sure how I would like this style of seat without the panniers.

Great seat! Should have bought it on day one! Update: It's much better than the stock seat on the Aero and ok for commutes and short rides, but we just finished a 10-day trip and I could only ride about 90 minutes before I was feeling pain. After trying out friends' bikes and decided that the Mustang is better than the Saddleman, and the Ultimate is better than the Mustang. UPDATE: Replaced this with an Ultimate seat and whooooo....much more $$$ but well worth it. And I got a bargain on the Ultimate that I couldn't pass up.
