I love that I don't have to mess with a buckle to open them, though the velcro is not as secure in the wind and will open up from time to time if you don't close it fully. They have been through a number of rain storms and never has a drop of water gotten inside. Plus I like the easy detach system. I can take them off without taking off my back seat. I don't ride with the bags alot. when I need to carry stuff I just snap em on. I would not recommend these bags if you keep your bags on all the time.
