I used "Easy Brackets". These bags are not overly large so don't expect to put too much in them. The size however looks good with the VTX-C model. After only 1 week on the bike and the back of the bag was breaking out. Fixed it by cutting a piece of metal to the shape of the bag and attaching to the back of the bag with stainless bolts. Able to take off of the bike with less effort now. The banks are not even close to water resistent. The bike sat in the rain (without moving) and everything in the bags are wet.
