This is a great bag. Extra storage compartments for smaller items inside. Easy to detach. The only thing I don't like about this bag is to keep it from bouncing the MFG provides what appears to be a shoe string to help secure it to the bottom of the saddle bag mount bar. The biggest item I can fit into one of the bags is a large leather jacket (with pads). My next bag will be something that doesn't require the leather strap to go over the rear fender and secures better to the bar.

These bags are a waste of ones time and money. After less then a year the plastic piece on the back of the bags begin to crack which left the bags with a lopsided appearance.

Looks great & will probably look good for a long time. The product description mentions the roller buckles that are lockable with a small padlock. That might be the way the older models worked, but on these the roller buckles are just for show & they actually attach with a plastic clip type buckle that has a small plastic key to lock. Not much of a deterant. Plus, with a roller buckle you can tighten or loosen the lid more or less like a belt. These do not expand at all, so if you have a little too much stuff the buckles will not close. I'm a little afraid that if stressed a little too much the plastic buckle will break. Only time will tell. Saddlemen bags are known for quality, so I will trust it until it breaks. If you plan to hard mount, like I did, you will need extra plugs to keep water from coming in the grommet holes for the easy detachable yoke. Saddlemen can send them to you direct, but they don't always have them & you may have to call a few times to finally get them. PS: Got...

Great bags. Tons of storage. Plastic lining helps keep shape but wish I had gotten something that was even firmer.

These are nice. The lack of a quick release isn't as bad as you'd think. I'm very happy with the looks. I wish I could have seen these somewhere before I bought them because I probably would have gotten the extra-jumbo. I'm in Indiana so fat chance there's a set anywhere near me on a shelf. I just guessed and dropped the cash. You can't fit a full face helmet in them if that gives you any idea of size.

A LITTLE SMALL BUT ANYWAY, THERE ARE NOT A LOT OF ROOM BECAUSE OF THE EXHAUST. BE PATIENT WHEN INSTALL, THE GENERAL PROCESS IS NOT A BIG DEAL BUT WHEN YOU GOT INTO THE PRECISE ADJUSTMENT, IT TAKES SOME TIME IF YOU WANT IT TO LOOK GOOD.(TOTAL PROCESS TOOK ME AROUND 90 MINUTES). THE EASY RELEASE FEATURE IS NOT EASY, BUT JUST POSSIBLE : YOU WILL NEED A PLIER TO TURN THE 3 LITTLE HOOKS. I GOT ONE OF THOSE HUGE TEXAS STORM (NOT RIDING THOUGH) AND THE INSIDE OF THE BAGS WERE TOTALLY DRY. LAST COMMENT : THOSE DO NOT MAKE IT EASY TO WASH THE REAR SIDE OF YOUR BIKE

Excellent saddlebags, not to big, not to small, mounted to the easy brackets. They come with little locks to keep the honest people honest.

I recieved the bags and mounted them to Easy Brackets on the weekend. I like the look of the bags, they follow the lines of the bike very well. I initially thought the bags were small, especially for a Jumbo. Once I had the mounted, I loaded them for a weekend trip and was slightly suprised at how much they can hold. I wouldn't be able to pack to a 4-day trip, but a weekender would not present a problem. Still, the word Jumbo is somewhat misleading. The only negative I can think of is the velcro on the top front and back. I attribute this mostly to me not being used to the bags, though. The velcro holds the bags shut exceptionally well and seems like this will work great if I ever get caught in the rain.

Could be a little larger - They are not the easiest to get into and out of due to the velcro attach. Good utility. Put the same bags on my 04 Volusia.
