(4 stars) reviewed on 08/18/10 by(ShadowRider2112) from , , United States, for a 2009 750 Shadow Aero wrote: Got these from my local dealer shortly after buying the bike because i needed some cargo space. They're pretty low end bags, but they're not bad given the price. I like the quick-release latches and the Velcro ends. It's probably too early to say how they'll hold up. They haven't seen any wet weather. They're a snap to remove when i'm trying to get at the rear tire valve. I wish they were larger. My dealer didn't think much would fit on the Aero with the double-stacked exhaust pipes, but there are a few inches of clearance with these that would allow for some slightly larger bags. Overall, they're good budget bags to start off with. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Could use more support straps to secure to the bike to prevent the bags from flopping in the wind. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Great addition, and perfect size so as to not interfere with my irregularly placed turn signals. High quality, I have ridden several times in the rain and other not pristine conditions and never had a problem. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(5 stars) reviewed on 02/07/07 bySteve (scbdiego) from San Diego, CA, United States, for a 2005 Black and Titanium 750 Shadow Aero wrote: I liked these bags so much that I also bought a pair of the jumbo sized drifter bags for touring on longer trips. I highy sugest that you buy the ez brackets and install together (1 hour). At the turn of a key, I can have both bags off in twenty seconds, with no hardware visible on the bike. When the bags are on the bike, they are securely bolted on. Looks really clean vs using the fender strap that leaves wear and tear on the paint (also looks sloopy) Using the ez brackets, jumbo and large, will fit on your bike perfectly. If you insist on using the fender stap then the large size will be the best fit for you. These bags are resonable quality, with rigid construction and at an excellent price. SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE JUMBO. 6-4-07, UP-GRADED TO CRUSIN' SLANT JUMBO. WANTED SOMETHING BIGGER & WITHOUT THE STRAP & BUCKLE. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful. (4 stars) reviewed on 08/29/06 bysue (suesue) from hamilton, ON, Canada, for a 2004 750 Shadow Aero wrote: Look very nice, fits nicely between the shock and signals. Got rid of the laces, and used tie-wraps instead. I'm not sure that the "quick release" feature is really "quick", since the buckle at the bottom of the bag is contained in an elastic sleeve that is sewn to the bottom of the bag. (I don't plan on removing the bags anyway) The "twist locks" are pretty stiff, but this may become easier with time. Simple little key locks are provided, but they're really flimsey.**UPDATE-- 2006-09-13 rode in the rain today, everything is dry in the saddlebags! Did'nt get the jumbo, because they would hide my chrome shocks, and I want to show off as much chrome as I can. And I went from zero storage to quite a bit. Also got the easy brackets. I can totally remove them in less than a minute!Very nice! Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(5 stars) reviewed on 05/06/06 byBlue Dragon (bluedragon) from Modesto, CA, United States, for a 2006 Silver and White 750 Shadow Aero wrote: Got the jumbo's instead of the large. Once I looked at them side by side, I liked having a little extra room. Haven't installed them yet, but shouldn't be too hard. They are very sharp looking and well made. UPDATE: Put the bags on today with the Show Chrome bag supports. They fit pretty good, I'm sure if I had gotten the larges instead of the Jumbo's they would fit better, but bigger is better, right?
