Seems to hold shape well but after 3 year is a little deformed. Been caught in the rain a few times and things do get wet (not too bad but not water resistant. After a road trip, however, the leather in the strap on one side cracked badly. Also, the velcro was so stron on the back side that on both sides, after only month, began to split at the seam from repeated open and closing.
