Gave this seat a year and still don't like it. It doesn't fit well, the leather is torn already where the factory seat bolted on on the sides. Its HOT, and sits almost right on my battery. It rubbed off the paint on my frame and I had to put spacers inbetween the seat and the frame to get some air and protect the frame. I thought it would "break in" after a year, but it still is hard. I don't feel any gel in the seat. The only thing I like about it is the back support and the way my legs rest on my floorboards. If my factory seat was still good, I would put it back on. Now I have to spend more money and find another seat.

i purchased mine on e-bay for $310.00 including shipping. I have only used it a couple of times but so far i like it and i think it will be much better for my wife than the the stock seat.

Installed on my 96 Magna Installation - A Only one bolt used Mounting - C Only one bolt used, center of saddle will shift side-to-side some Comfort - B+ Much, Much better than the stock seat, specially for us skinny butt people - Stock seat made me want to stop after 20 minutes - This seat is comfortable for extended periods Ride - B+ Removes more of the road bumps than stock seat Position - B- Sits near the same height as stock seat but moves you forward (guessing here) 2-3 inches. If you are tall, plan on installing forward controls. I already had some on but am considering building my own custom set to move the pedals even further forward. OA Value - A- Not a huge selection for the venerable Magna series but this one is a pretty good all around saddle that treats the passenger too
